Founded in 1996, The Pathways Centre is an outreach initiative of the City of Dublin Education and Training Board (City of Dublin ETB) Educational Service to Prisons. We offer a safe and understanding environment for former prisoners in the crucial period after release.

QQI Level 5 Major Award in Community Development
To achieve a Major award, you must complete 8 modules. The Level 5's can be also completed as stand alone modules, at your own pace with flexible peer learning promoted within the Pathways Centre.

The Pathways Centre is open to serving and former prisoners, their families, and members of the wider community.
Opening Hours
- Monday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Tuesday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Friday: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Referral Process (For Individuals in Prison)
If you are currently in prison and approaching release, here’s how to connect with The Pathways Centre:
Contact staff in the Education Centre.
Reach out through pre-release courses, the Integrated Sentence Management (I.S.M.) officer, or the Training & Employment officer for referral.
If suitable, a staff worker from The Pathways Centre will arrange to visit you in prison.
